About me:

After graduating from Albright College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Journalism, I began working in the Schuykill Valley School District as a teacher's aide and personal care aide.  While working with students in the Schuykill Valley School District I realized that I found an occupation that I was truly passionate about.  With the support and encouragement of many Albright College professors, I enrolled in the Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program and began taking graduate credits at Albright College to earn my certification in Secondary Education.

I am currently employed as a subsititute teacher with numerous school districts in Berks County.  Each school district has provided unique experiences, reassuring my passion of becoming an educator.

Along with having a burning desire to become an educator, I am equally passionate about athletics and coaching.  The sport I enjoyed playing most was football, as I excelled as an offensive lineman at Alright College.  I am currently the head offensive line coach at Reading High School and have thoroughly enjoyed coaching and helping the student athletes reach their full potential.

“It is not doing the things we like to do, but doing the things we have to do that causes growth and makes us successful. Successful people are willing to do the things unsuccessful people will not do.”
